Getting started
What do you need from me to get started?
A link to the app and a short description of what's going wrong or what you want to launch. After a first conversation, we'll set up access to the code and backend together.
Which platforms do you work with?
Apps generated with Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0 and Cursor, and the backends they commonly use, including Supabase and Firebase. If yours was built another way, ask.
I'm not technical. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Most of my clients aren't. Reports and updates are written in plain English, and I'll explain any decision you need to make.
How long does an audit take?
Usually about 7 days. It depends on the size of the app, and I'll confirm a timeline before starting.
The work
Will you rewrite my app from scratch?
Usually not. Most prototypes have a solid core worth keeping. I recommend rebuilding a piece only when it costs less than repairing it, and I'll show you why.
Will my app go down while you work on it?
No. Changes are made and tested in a separate staging environment, then released in stages.
Can I keep using my AI builder afterward?
In many cases, yes. I'll set up a review step before changes reach production and tell you which areas are safe to keep editing freely.
Can you add new features too?
Yes. Payments, subscriptions, team accounts, integrations and anything else you need to launch or grow.
Ownership & security
Who owns the code?
You do. Code, accounts and documentation stay in your name from day one.
How do you handle access to my accounts?
I use the least access needed, through invitations you control rather than shared passwords, and you can revoke it at any time.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes, happy to before you share any code or business details.
After launch
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes. Ongoing engineering covers new features, updates, monitoring and fixes, without hiring a full-time developer.
What if I want to hire my own developer later?
That's a good outcome. Everything is documented so another engineer can pick it up quickly, and I'm glad to help with the handover.
